Growth Spurt
The main idea behind Growth Spurt was to create a platformer where the levels were constantly changing and growing around you, rather than staying static like most platform games. It was an entry into a Ludum Dare 48 hour game programming competition - all code, art and levels were made by me in just 48 hours. The theme for this competition was 'growth'.
You have to guide your bee and jump from leaf to leaf on the ever growing plants. Make your way to the top of the plants and collect enough nectar from the flowers at the top to move on to the next level.

Controls
Use the cursor (arrow) keys to move your bee, and the space bar to jump. Pressing space again while in the air will do a double jump.

Best at the end where more skill required (and a long drop below!)

Yup, it’s possible but since it’s the final challenge it’s quite a bit harder than the previous levels.

I came to this site from a link about minecraft and saw this game. This is so much better than notch’s entry. Man, that was shitty.

I would like to thnkx for the efforts you have put in writing this website. I’m hoping the same high-grade blog post from you in the upcoming also. In fact your creative writing skills has encouraged me to get my own web site now. Really the blogging is spreading its wings quickly. Your write up is a good example of it.
